The logo is in brown green and blue. It reads: Hapori, systems change community aotearoa

Hapori is the social media platform
for systems changemakers in Aotearoa

Hapori is a space for you to connect with other systems changemakers throughout Aotearoa to share your experiences, suggest resources and tools, and support each other.

A look inside

Think of Hapori as a digital pātaka —a shared space where systems change champions across the motu can contribute their mātauranga, lived experiences, and resources while finding the tools and connections they need to support their mahi and create transformational change.

Why was Hapori created?

During a hui in 2024 of people working in the transformational change space, it became evident that systems change work can feel lonely. Groups and organisations existed, but they were spread out around the country without connection. The idea to build a digital space for anyone doing systems change mahi was born.

Just as a physical pātaka invites the hapori to share what they can and take what they need, our vision is to cultivate an online hub where changemakers can exchange whakaaro, support one another, and access opportunities to grow and learn.

We’ve started building this digital pātaka to strengthen a thriving, interconnected network and nurture an emerging community of practice.

Who is Hapori for?

Anyone doing systems change mahi. Those working in community organisations, consultants, researchers, funders and anyone interested in systems change.

Is there a cost?
